Giving Back

Community Impact

Every NPSOA conference leaves something behind. Since 2025, members have partnered with a local organization in each host city — volunteering, fundraising, and investing in the communities that welcome us. And through the Scholarship Fund, we invest in the next generation of the trade.

We leave every host city better than we found it.

The idea is simple: when a city hosts our annual conference, our members show up for that community — hands-on volunteering plus real financial support, funded by members and vendor partners together.

“The NPSOA is so much more than just a great trade association. National Print and Sign Owners Association has provided us with invaluable networking opportunities, up-to-date industry insights, and a supportive community that has helped propel our growth and success.”

Help 4 Kids & Backpack Buddies

At the 2026 Leaders Summit, Board Chair Nathaniel Grant and Conference Chair Kevin Hebert presented a $5,000 check to Help 4 Kids & Backpack Buddies — a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit making sure children in Horry County don’t go hungry.

Each week during the school year, Backpack Buddies delivers nearly 3,000 child-friendly, nutritious food packs so students have meals over the weekend — plus clothing, school supplies, and hygiene essentials for families facing hardship. What began as a small act of kindness in 1989 is now a lifeline for hundreds of families every week.

“I am indebted to the association for the advice I have received and take comfort in the security of not being in the industry alone.”

Investing in the next generation.

In 2024 we established the NPSOA Scholarship Fund to back the students who will carry this industry forward — the children of our members and their employees. In its first years, the fund has disbursed more than $35,000 to students pursuing careers in print and sign.
